Doug Nye has written some 70 books, a good number of them about Ferrari. Uniquely, he is a four-times winner of the Guild of Motoring Writers’ Montagu Trophy, awarded for ‘the greatest contribution to recording motoring history’. He has a regular monthly column in Motor Sport magazine and has contributed to numerous other publications worldwide. As historical consultant to Goodwood Motorsport, he co-founded the Goodwood Festival of Speed (1993) and the Goodwood Revival (1998).
