Eric Verdon-Roe spent 33 years at Haymarket Publishing, ending as Group Managing Director and Chairman of the motoring division.

In helping to guide Haymarket to its position as the world’s leading publisher of motoring magazines and websites, his responsibilities included Autosport, Autocar, Classic & Sports Car, F1 Racing, PistonHeads and What Car?

Mark Hughes

Prior to joining Evro Publishing, Mark Hughes was Editorial Director of the Books Division at Haynes Publishing for 14 years.

His earlier career was spent first at Haymarket Publishing, where he was Editor of Autosport and Classic & Sports Car, and then as a freelance editor/writer managing the production of numerous books.
He was presented with the ‘Lifetime Achievement’ Award at the 2021 Royal Automobile Club Motoring Book Awards.

Rebecca Leppard

Rebecca Leppard looks after Evro Publishing’s marketing in the UK. After a ten-year career as a PR & Marketing Manager with automotive book giants Haynes Publishing, Rebecca launched Eventageous PR Ltd in 2004 as a specialist automotive PR agency, initially focusing on automotive books and product launches. Whilst this remains the backbone to her business, she also manages several notable historic racing drivers, industry award ceremonies and large-scale automotive events within the historic/classic sector. During her 27 years in the industry, she has publicised over 1,000 automotive books and was awarded Newspress Automotive PR of the Year both in 2019 and 2020.

Judy Stropus

Judy takes care of marketing for Evro Publishing in the United States. Based in Connecticut, she is an award-winning automotive/motorsports publicist, author, journalist, race-car driver and event organizer. Before the introduction of computers, she was a respected professional timer/scorer for top race teams, including Penske Racing.
